I think the reason why it was so short was that teacher knew she couldn't win. He would just hit all of her bullets with his bullets. I wonder if those student are going to stay together or go their separate ways.good episode. |

(^_^) The teacher tries to stop them, but Alis' perfect aim is unbeatable. Yuri left Scar? What the fuck. And Scar left Celica. What the fuck. Yuri, please explain next episode and hopefully those students go home. |

| It didn't even felt like they were held captive so the break out wasn't that intense, however I still have to appreciate the soundtrack choice for this anime. It suits the show very well and I think I'm gonna hear em even after this anime's over. |

| I still don't get the point of Alis's flashback to the ferris wheel; maybe it's revealed later on or I wasn't paying enough attention. Disappointed in this arc. So many characters introduced with so little depth. The school itself didn't seem that menacing and we didn't see enough of the teacher. The bath scene was out of nowhere too, and the shift in tone from the tower conversation to the bath gave me whiplash. Part of me assumed the teacher's last resort was to kill the kids so they'd be unable to age and remain at school forever, thereby ensuring more funds from the government (for some reason, this subplot felt out of place?). The Alis/teacher battle was anticlimactic as hell, lol; I understand the reasoning but they could've added the teacher going "tch" instead of just giving up so emotionlessly. |

| Was that it for this school kidnapping segment? It was a bit underwhelming. Alice's vague philosophising and their near instant escape from the school that seemed to have no internal security didn't beget much intrigue. I'm surprised the academy managed to kidnap the students in the first place, considering it should barely have the resources or expenses to hire efficient agents. The only staff member seems to be the headmistress, in an otherwise completely deserted building. And damn, Scar already abandoned the kid. But considering she adopted it on a whim, that isn't a surprise. Wonder if there's anywhere in the world where "Alice" is a male name. You wouldn't think there would be. |
